Ag drones. Precision application.

Smarter Spraying. Better Yields.

Precision aerial application for Southern California growers — avocado, citrus, wine grapes, berries, nursery, and row crops. If it grows in Southern California, we fly it. Uniform coverage on every pass, with variable-rate prescriptions when your PCA calls for them.

A free demo means we bring the T100 to your property and you watch it fly your block — no charge, no obligation.

How it works

Booked in three steps.

Hiring a drone to spray your crops is simpler than most growers expect. No contract to get started, no equipment to buy — just three steps from your first call to a finished, documented application.

Book a free demo

Most quotes turn around in days — start before your spray window closes.

  1. Step 01

    Book a free demo

Call, email, or send us your block and crop. We schedule a visit, bring the drone out to your property, and fly a live demo over part of your field — so you see the coverage with your own eyes before spending a dollar.

    Get a written quote

After the demo we send a clear, written price per acre for your crop, your acreage, and your terrain. Our rates are published up front — no hidden fees, no hard sell, no back-and-forth.

Strata UAV flies the specialty and field crops that define Southern California agriculture — across four counties, from North County's hillside groves to the Imperial Valley floor. Here's the ground we cover and the top crops we treat in each.

  • Steep green hillside with agricultural plantings on slopes — the kind of terrain ground rigs can't safely work
    HILLSIDE GROVELIVE
North County groves, nurseries & berries

    San Diego County

Our home base. Hillside avocado and citrus, the Fallbrook–Escondido nursery and cut-flower belt, and coastal berry ground — much of it on slopes a ground rig can't safely work.

Optional · Precision upgrade

Precision spraying, when you want it.

Most jobs are straightforward, even-coverage spraying across the whole block — and that's what most crops need. When your crop or your PCA (your pest-control adviser) asks for it, we can also fly variable rate. First we map the field with a crop-health camera that picks up plant stress the eye can't see — multispectral imaging — which becomes a color-coded health map (NDVI), then a prescription the T100 sprays zone by zone: more where the field needs it, less or none where it doesn't. Terrain-following Lidar keeps every pass accurate across hillside contours and dense canopy that ground rigs treat as one undifferentiated block.

FAQ

Answers before you pick up the phone.

The questions growers ask us most. Don't see yours here? Call or email — we reply the same day.

  • Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Strata UAV holds FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot certification, an FAA Section 44807 exemption to operate aircraft over 55 pounds like the Agras T100, and FAA Part 137 Agricultural Aircraft Operator certification. On the California side we carry a DPR Qualified Applicator License and the Unmanned Pest Control Aircraft Pilot certificate, plus aviation liability insurance — we can provide certificates naming you as additionally insured on request.
  • What crops do you work on?
We fly the specialty and field crops that define Southern California agriculture — avocado, citrus, wine and table grapes, dates, berries, nursery and cut flowers, and everything from tomatoes and leafy greens to alfalfa, onions, carrots, sugar beets, and cotton. If your crop isn't on that list and it grows in Southern California, give us a call — we probably fly it.
  • What's included in the free demo?
We bring the DJI Agras T100 out to your property and fly a live demonstration over a section of your block, so you can see exactly how it moves, how evenly it covers, and how it handles your terrain — at no cost, no obligation to book. Afterward we follow up with a written per-acre quote for the program you're considering. It's how we prove the value of what we do before you spend a dollar.
